I don’t see a specific chord in the list. Can I add a custom chord like Am7sus4?

Piano Companion has a powerful engine which allows to add or edit any number of chords in the library.

Android

  1. Open up Chord Dictionary
  2. Scroll to the end of list or tap “Add as a new chord”:

  3. Let’s assume that you would like to add Am7sus4 chord. Then input name: m7sus4
  4. Input intervals: 1 4 5 7b  (Root – Sus4 – Perfect Fifth – Minor Seventh)
  5. Use root “A” for preview and tap Save:

  6. Your chord is ready and available on the list:
